Christmas 2012

Guess what??
Sprinkles must have been giving a good report, because Santa came to our house!
He brought a great big cardboard rocket ship for Barrett, so he can blast off ... "to infinity and BEYOND!"  (in a Toy story/Buzz Lightyear/Woody phase).
And the elves made Charlotte a pretty pink play kitchen!  I heard that the elves repurposed the kitchen from an old TV cabinet, and even found someone to put a granite remnant in the kitchen :) with a tiny crystal chandelier over the sink!  Little Miss loves to cook for ANY willing participants, and pull out the manymanymany tiny pieces of food and kitchen paraphernalia.

The day after Christmas, we packed up to visit family in Birmingham.  The kiddos love getting to have double the celebration, and it gave us a chance to spend time with sweet cousins -- and new baby Joseph!
Painting is a big winter time activity for the kiddos~~ its too cold to play outside, and this keeps them busy.  It's an all-hands-on-deck situation though, to make sure the paint only goes where it is supposed to go (although, as you can see, Barrett is trying to paint the bottom on Woody's cowboy boots, so that he is forever marked as HIS special cowboy)
